Formulated as a small, easy-to-administer tablet, it is effective against all common worms that can infect dogs, including the four major gastrointestinal worms: roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms, as well as heartworm disease.

Milbemax worming tablet for 11 to 55 lbs dogs is safe and effective for puppies and dogs of various breeds from two weeks, helping safeguard them from an early age. When used as directed, it is also suitable for pregnant, breeding and lactating dogs. For convenience, this monthly heartworm prevention can be given with or after food. It is available in two different dosage strengths to accommodate dogs of different sizes.

Milbemax For Dogs Coverage:

• Indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease.
• Treats and controls roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms.

Active Ingredients:

Milbemycin oxime 12.5 mg, Praziquantel 125.0 mg

• Milbemax should be given as a single dose by oral administration with or after some food.
• Weigh your dog prior to administration and get the appropriate dosage pack.
• Before beginning treatment with Milbemax, talk to your vet to have your dog checked for existing heartworms.
• It can be hidden in food or given directly. Ensure your dog takes the complete dose when given in food. If the complete dose is not taken, redose.
• Use Milbemax Tablets for Small Dogs and Puppies at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age and every 3 weeks thereafter.
• For dogs weighing over 5 kg, use Milbemax Tablets for Large Dogs.
• Treat nursing dogs at the same time as their puppies.
• Treat adult dogs every 3 months.
• Treat pregnant dogs at mating, then 10 days before whelping and then at the same times as puppies.
• In hydatid tapeworm areas, consult a vet for advice.
• For heartworm prevention, administer every month, preferably on the same date.
• When replacing heartworm tablets containing DEC (Diethylcarbamazine citrate), administer the first dose within 30 days of the changeover.

Milbemax For Dogs Dosing Guide:

Milbemax for dogs should not be used in puppies under two weeks of age. It is for use in dogs only. Do not use it on any other animal species. This wormer is suitable for pregnant, breeding and lactating dogs. Keep it out of reach of children, pets and uninformed people.

Do not allow a dog to feed on offal from any species. Do not use tablets for small dogs and puppies in dogs weighing under 1.1 lbs (0.5 Kg) and do not use tablets for large dogs in dogs weighing under 11 lbs (5.0 Kg).

Avoid using this treatment if your dog has a known sensitivity to any active ingredient used in the product. Treat all animals in the household. Consult your veterinarian before using Milbemax alongside macrocyclic lactones and other veterinary treatments. Wash your hands after handling this treatment.
