How Does Milbemax Allwormer For Dogs Work?

This multi-worm treatment for dogs contains milbemycin oxime and praziquantel. This combination of active ingredients works by paralyzing and killing the worms within your dog's body. These parasites are then naturally eliminated from the body through the digestive system. Milbemycin oxime disrupts the nervous system functions of roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, as well as heartworm larvae, causing fatal paralysis. Praziquantel eliminates tapeworms by causing severe muscle spasms in these parasites, causing them to lose their grip on the intestinal wall.

• Milbemax should be given as a single dose by oral administration with or after some food.
• Weigh your dog prior to administration and get the appropriate dosage pack.
• Before beginning treatment with Milbemax, talk to your vet to have your dog checked for existing heartworms.
• It can be hidden in food or given directly. Ensure your dog takes the complete dose when given in food. If the complete dose is not taken, redose.
• Use Milbemax Tablets for Small Dogs and Puppies at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age and every 3 weeks thereafter.
• For dogs weighing over 5 kg, use Milbemax Tablets for Large Dogs.
• Treat nursing dogs at the same time as their puppies.

Milbemax for dogs should not be used in puppies under two weeks of age. It is for use in dogs only. Do not use it on any other animal species. This wormer is suitable for pregnant, breeding and lactating dogs. Keep it out of reach of children, pets and uninformed people.

Do not allow a dog to feed on offal from any species. Do not use tablets for small dogs and puppies in dogs weighing under 1.1 lbs (0.5 Kg) and do not use tablets for large dogs in dogs weighing under 11 lbs (5.0 Kg).

Avoid using this treatment if your dog has a known sensitivity to any active ingredient used in the product. Treat all animals in the household.
