Vectra 3D – Fast-Acting Flea & Tick Treatment For Dogs

Protecting your canine companions from fleas and ticks is rarely easy. Vectra 3D for Dogs is an excellent solution to your furry friend's defense against the most common parasites, such as fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and flies. This advanced topical treatment kills as well as repels parasites on contact, so they do not need to bite your pet. It helps control multiple life stages of fleas and provides repellent effects against ticks. It has been shown to reduce flea feeding within minutes and kill them within hours after infestation. The formula kills and repels ticks with a 'hot foot' action.

Vectra 3D utilizes a synergistic combination of three active ingredients with persistent anti-feeding properties. This helps prevent mosquitoes from biting and supports the prevention strategy against heartworm disease. Additionally, it repels sand flies, preventing them from biting and feeding, which reduces the risk of Leishmaniasis. The spot-on formula features a unique patented smooth ball tip with an elongated applicator, allowing for quick and easy application. It remains effective even after water immersion, such as bathing or swimming.

How Does Vectra 3D Work?

Vectra 3D topical dog treatment contains dinotefuran, pyriproxyfen and permethrin. This combination of active ingredients works together to kill and repel parasites on contact. Once parasites land on a treated dog, they are exposed to the active formula. It disrupts the feeding activities in fleas, knocking them down, and they begin falling off the treated animal. The treatment works through a unique 'hot foot' action against ticks. Dinotefuran targets the nervous system of parasites, while pyriproxyfen works as an insect growth regulator (IGR), disrupting the life stages of parasites. Permethrin makes parasites run off without biting.

Directions
  • Weigh your dog to administer the right dosage.
  • Before applying Vectra 3D, ensure your dog is dry and remains dry after 24 hours of application.
  • For easy application, make your dog stand in a comfortable position.
  • Remove a spot-on applicator from the pack.
  • Hold the applicator upright, pointing away from your face.
  • Place your thumb and index finger around the applicator tip under the large disk.
  • Grasp the stem of the applicator tip above the smaller disk with your other hand.
  • Firmly press down on the small disk until both disks meet, piercing the seal.
  • Part the dog's hair at the base of the tail using the applicator tip and apply the product onto the skin in a continuous line, from the base of the tail along the center of the back all the way up to the shoulder blades.
  • Squeeze the applicator until it is empty.
  • Do not apply the treatment to the dog's hair.
  • For optimal protection, repeat the treatment every month, year-round.
