Valuheart for Dogs Gold is an effective and budget-friendly oral treatment developed to prevent heartworm disease in dogs. It uses the same active ingredient, ivermectin, as other popular brands on the market for reliable and trusted protection. This monthly heartworm preventive for large dogs may be given directly or with food, providing flexibility in dosing. It is available in three different dosages to accommodate dogs of various sizes.

• Valuheart Gold is recommended for puppies and dogs from 6 weeks of age, weighing between 45 and 88 lbs.

Valuheart Coverage:

• Helps prevent heartworm disease by eliminating the tissue stage of heartworm larvae.

Active Ingredient:

Ivermectin 240 mcg.

• Administer Valuheart orally once every month.
• These oral tablets may be given directly by hand or mixed in the food. To encourage consumption, it may be wrapped in food.
• Observe your dog closely for a few minutes to ensure the complete tablet has been taken. If you suspect that a part of the dose has not been taken, give another tablet.
• Give the first dose of Valuheart within one month of your dog's first exposure to mosquitoes. Give the final dose within one month after your dog's last exposure to mosquitoes.
• When the monthly treatment is continued for at least 12 months, it helps control heartworm infection when initiated up to four months after exposure to infected mosquitoes.
• When switching to Valuheart from another heartworm preventive, give the first dose of this tablet within one month after the last dose of the previous treatment.
• Your dog should be tested and should be free of adult heartworms as well as microfilaria before starting the heartworm prevention program.

Valuheart Dosing Guide:

Consult a vet if there has been a lapse in the preventive program or if you have not used a heartworm preventive on your dog. Test your dog for heartworms before beginning the heartworm preventive program, and use only if the dog is free from adult heartworms and microfilariae.

When used as directed, it is safe for dogs of all breeds, including stud dogs, pregnant, breeding and lactating dogs. These oral tablets are not effective against adult heartworms (Dirofilariae immitis). The treatment with Valuheart may reduce the number of circulating microfilariae to undetectable levels. Keep these tablets out of reach of children and pets.
