This monthly parasite treatment for dogs 10.1 – 20.0 Kg comes in an easy-to-apply topical applicator, making administration simple and convenient. It is suitable for puppies from 6 weeks of age, allowing protection from an early age. It can be administered to pregnant, breeding and lactating dogs. Stronghold parasite control treatment is available in various sizes to cater to different dog sizes.

Stronghold Spot-on For Dogs Coverage:

Active Ingredient:

Selamectin 120 mg.

• Weigh your dog to administer the correct dosage.
• Stronghold should be applied topically to the dog's skin once every month.
• Remove the applicator from its protective pack.
• Hold the applicator upright and firmly depress its cap to puncture the applicator seal. Once the seal is punctured, remove the cap.
• Part your dog's hair at the base of their neck in front of the shoulder blades and expose a small area of their skin.
• Apply the applicator tip directly to the dog's skin without massaging.
• Squeeze the applicator firmly to empty the entire contents in one spot, avoiding your contact with the product.

Stronghold for Dogs Dosing Guide:

Stronghold is not suitable for puppies younger than 6 weeks of age. Do not use in pets suffering from concomitant disease or that are debilitated and underweight. It can be used in pregnant, breeding and lactating dogs. The treatment should be applied to the skin surface only. Do not administer it orally or parenterally. Do not allow the treated animal to bathe in watercourses until at least two hours after application. Do not apply it directly to the ear canal for ear mite treatment.

According to extensive field testing, it was used together with other routinely used veterinary treatments with no adverse reactions. Dogs may be bathed two hours after treatment. Do not apply this treatment when the dog's hair coat is wet. Shampooing or soaking the dog two or more hours after the application will not reduce its efficacy.

Keep the treated animals away from fire and other sources of ignition for at least 30 minutes or until the coat is dry. Avoid smoking, eating or drinking while handling the product. Wash your hands after handling the treatment. Avoid direct contact with the treated animal until the application is dry. Do not allow children to handle the treated animal on the day of treatment. People with sensitive skin or with known allergy to the active ingredient should handle the treated animal with caution.
