NexGard SPECTRA Spot-On is for external use on cats only. This treatment is not indicated for use in kittens younger than 8 weeks of age or less than 1.76 lbs (0.8 kg) of body weight. It can be used in breeding, pregnant or lactating cats as recommended by the veterinarian.
Avoid contact with the application area until it is visibly dry. When applying the treatment, ensure the cat's skin is dry. Keep this product in its original packaging until ready to use. Wash your hands thoroughly after handling the product. Keep it out of reach of children, pets and uninformed people.
Esafoxolaner belongs to the isoxazoline family of drugs. Adverse reactions to this family of chemicals may include diarrhea, vomiting, inappetence, lethargy, itching and, very rarely, seizures. These reactions are rare and most of them are self-limiting and of short duration. Talk to a vet before use.
