NexGard Coverage:

Active Ingredient:

Afoxolaner 28 mg

• You can begin your dog's treatment with NexGard at any time of the year.
• Administer NexGard orally as a single dose, once every month.
• It can be given with or without food. When giving food, you should make sure your dog takes the complete dose. If you suspect that the dog has not taken the complete dose or if the dog vomits within two hours of dosing, give another full dose.
• If you miss a dose, administer one dose as soon as you recall dosing and resume with monthly dosing.
• To reduce the possibility of fleas reinfesting your dog, treat all the pets in your household for fleas with a vet-recommended treatment.
• For continuous, year-round protection, you should continue the treatment the entire year without interruption.

NexGard Chews For Dogs Dosing Guide:

NexGard is not for use in humans. You should keep these chews out of the reach of children, uninformed people and pets. In case of accidental ingestion, immediately consult a physician. The safety of NexGard chews in pregnant, breeding or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. These chews should be used with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.

Field studies suggest that NexGard can be used with other treatments, including antibiotics, vaccines, anthelmintics, steroids, antihistamines, NSAIDs and anesthetics.

Do not administer NexGard to puppies under 8 weeks of age or under 4 lbs of body weight.

Storage Guide:

NexGard Chews should be stored at or below 30°C (86°F) with excursions permitted up to 40°C (104°F).
