How Does Credelio Flea & Tick Treatment for Dogs Work?
Credelio for Dogs contains lotilaner. After administration, the active ingredient, lotilaner, is absorbed into the dog's bloodstream. When fleas and/or ticks bite a Credelio-treated dog, they ingest lotilaner. This extra-purified formula inhibits the nerve receptors of fleas and ticks, causing uncontrolled activity in their nervous system, leading to death.
According to controlled lab studies referred to in the product label, Credelio began killing fleas four hours after administration or infestation, killing almost all fleas within eight hours. It showed complete efficacy against adult fleas within 12 hours. It also displayed more than 90% efficacy against various tick species 48 hours post-administration or infestation.
Credelio is not for use in humans. You should keep these chews out of the reach of children, uninformed people and pets. In case of accidental ingestion, immediately consult a physician. The safe use of Credelio has not been evaluated in pregnant, breeding or lactating dogs. You should use these chews with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. Is it necessary to give Credelio with food?

I missed a dose of Credelio. What should I do?
If you miss a dose, immediately give one dose with food and continue with a monthly dosing schedule.
